The Hardware Asset Manager will monitor hardware assets through the asset lifecycle, report and monitor KPI’s, and ensure data accuracy, while always looking for process improvements.

Track and monitor IT hardware assets through the asset lifecycle, from purchase to disposal, including installs, moves, adds, and other changes to the asset
Create asset tracking reports to audit and reconcile the hardware asset data, and identify and resolve issues
Create, implement and document asset lifecycle procedures for asset management tasks and activities
Create dashboards that show key performance indicators (KPI’s) and trends, and collaborate with ITAM Process Owner to make process changes that improve KPI’s
Develop reports to analyze the financial information of new and existing assets, and show potential cost savings and ROI
Onboard and train departmental and collegiate contacts, and lead the transition for inputting assets into the ITAM tool
Work closely with the ITAM Process Owner to ensure data accuracy and any needed process enhancements or improvements

Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of professional work experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal six years
Proficiency with Excel including macros, formulas, pivot tables, Vlookups, etc
Prior experience with IT Service Management and/or IT Asset Management tools
Experience reconciling data in multiple systems and running queries and reports
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or a related field.
Understanding of integrations between ITAM software, SCCM, Jamf, service desk software, and financial management software
