This position plans, coordinates, administers, and implements the academic program and activities supporting CWU’s presence on Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) and supporting CWU’s Supply Chain Management Program to relieve the director of operating & administrative detail. The position carries out the day-to-day program operations, functions as the program's primary contact and resource, and coordinates, schedules, and monitors program courses, activities, and events to achieve the goals and objectives of the program. The position carries out marketing and promotional initiatives, student support, inventory control, project management, web and database management, and budget planning/reporting.
Bachelor's degree and experience in program support OR an equivalent combination of experience and/or education to perform the essential functions of the job.
Experience working with Veteran populations.
Experience planning and coordinating events.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to multi-task, accomplish tasks and projects, and manage workload to meet predetermined deadlines.
Experience that demonstrates the ability to use Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, e-mail and/or similar software applications, to independently produce grammatically correct written correspondence, accurately create and maintain spreadsheets, receive and respond to e-mail inquiries and tasks, etc.
Demonstrated ability to provide high quality customer service
Experience in program administration support of academic program in a college or university setting.
