Department Overview The Wealth & Investment Management Technology (WIMT) group provides technology solutions to six key business lines for Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). WIM is one of the nation's leading provider of investment services, administering $1.7 trillion in client assets, including $156 billion in deposits, and has $75 billion in loans. About the Role Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
Responsibilities: Application Developer lead position on the ADS - Application Delivery Services/Business Integration group for Wells Fargo Advisors Brokerage Technology. The Business Integration Group (BIG) manages, maintains and provides support to technology centric, distributed systems for Wells Fargo Advisors and WIM.
6+ years of application development and implementation experience
4+ years of development experience with Microsoft technologies .NET/C# , Java Scripting, Oracle, SQL Databases
4+ years of Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
3+ years of API/micro services development, UI and Angular, Caching technologies at the applications, Service and database layers
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Knowledge and understanding of technical infrastructure including software configurations and relational databases
Vulnerability management systems experience
Information Security Frameworks and standards (FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience
Knowledge and understanding of patch management
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Knowledge and understanding of technical leadership including large, visible, cross group projects across multiple technologies
Knowledge of architecture standards and methodologies, such as Gartner, TOGAF, and/or Zachman
