The Enterprise Technology Vendor Management Office (ETVMO) resides within Technology Solutions. Our mandate is to build a world class North American Technology Enterprise Vendor Management Office focused on the vendors leveraged by our CTO and Technology CIOs by driving Operational Oversight for Technology Vendors / Engagements and Technology Procurement Efficiencies in partnership with the Strategic Sourcing Group (SSG).
We leverage industry standards, TD Best Practices, Risk and Compliancy Frameworks as well as Expense Policies to apply appropriate Governance to our portfolio of vendors. Our accountabilities include Spend Governance, Supplier Risk Management, Vendor Strategy and Traditional Vendor Management. Our team is comprised of seasoned, vendor management experts aligned to CIOs.
Reporting to the Senior Vendor Manager, the successful candidate will drive best in class vendor management and governance through all stages of the agreement lifecycle, in alignment with relevant TD frameworks/methodologies and in support of business and enterprise objectives, with a focus on:
Manage and own delivery of governance models for
IBM Sapphire agreement
Canadian Field Service vendors (IBM Canon and Coreio)
US Field Service vendor (Soroc)
Support consulting engagement requests across ITS via ERR/Hiperos processes from initial intake, SSG/TPRM review to requisite approvals by CPO, VP Finance, CTO and TDBG CIO
Drive contract execution by collaborating with BM&G and Finance team via ITS PIC and CIO Signing Party processes to secure CTO & TDBG CIO approvals
Escalate process delay and issues to manage stakeholder expectations
Build ERR Dashboard Reporting for review by AVP, Sr Manager and other stakeholders
Act as CoE in Expense, SSG and TPRM policy advisory role
Drive vendor negotiation in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and various other internal partners to support special projects and optimization initiatives
Manage ongoing financial management for the assigned contracts including end-to-end process to support vendor invoice validation and payment
Liaise with internal business partners and stakeholders to align vendor performance to TD's business objectives and priorities
Manage vendor performance scorecard, dashboard reporting and governance meeting presentation material targeted for the senior executive audience
Provide VM support for business partners to develop business cases and deliver contract renewal execution / special projects to optimize ITS vendor spend
Problem & issue management; escalation to IBM governance models
Drive continuous improvement independently with minimal supervision
Liaise with audit/compliance partners to maintain or reduce ITS's risk posture through Supplier Risk Management practices
Lead partnership with SSG/TPRM, TRMIS/3PCRM, Audit, Compliance and other risk stakeholder
College / University with emphasis on computer science or engineering disciplines, and/or equivalent work experiences.

Broad experience in IT infrastructure and service delivery
Prior cost reduction experience in an IT environment
Demonstrated vendor negotiation and influence skills
Strong financial and contracting acumen an asset
Prior Business Management experience an asset
Prior exposures to IaaS, PaaS or SaaS services a definite asset
Experience in communicating with executive stakeholders (e.g. AVP, VP level executives)
Passionate for technology, understands market / industry trends and issues for IT infrastructure
Ability to develop commercially beneficial relationships with vendors
Proven ability to collaborate across a large organization to effectively realize outcomes
History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term
