Our Milan office has been established in Italy since July 2017. It aims to attract highly motivated, professional and dedicated individuals.
In order to sustain our growing business in Italy, we are currently looking for an experienced Legal, Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our entity in Milan, who will act in tight cooperation with (and reporting directly to) the Head of Legal, Risk and compliance of the Italian Branch.
The main responsibilities of the position will include the following:
Supporting the sustainable growth in Banking, Real Estate and Debt solutions by assisting in the identification and management of legal risks and compliance requirements.
Cooperate in company secretarial matters.
Reviewing of contractual documentation (servicing agreements, back up servicing agreements, supplier contracts and NDA's);
Monitoring of changes of the regulatory environment in relation to the businesses carried out and to any new product, and contributing to relevant risk assessment processes;
Assisting in the development, implementation and embedding of policies and procedures;
Assisting the Risk Assessment exercise;
Supporting the Incident Management process;
The Legal, Risk and Compliance Specialist should have the following:
5 years of Legal / Risk & Compliance experience in the Financial Services and/or Bank Insurance market;
University Degree or higher;
Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to share knowledge;
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, balancing multiple priorities and demonstrating good organisational skills;
Experience in a multi-client environment is preferable;
Fluent in English and Italian (any other language would be considered as an asset);
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages with the ability to learn quickly other relevant systems;
Knowledge of following regulation: TUB, 130/99, GDPR, 231/01, AML EU directives and 231/07, 81/08, Company Law.
