Contract Administration (support procurement and selection of design professionals and constructors, including delivery methods and procurement techniques), bidding and procurement (review project specifications prior to bid release, support bid and proposal evaluation, support managing the RFQ/RFP process, and conduct bid openings), modeling and procurement (apply statistical and optimization methods to support financial and power plant performance data analysis, production efficiency optimization, process engineering, and continuous improvement; provide economic, qualitative and quantitative analysis to assist in generation resources optimization, forecasting and budgeting; monitor production and support evaluating production process and operational systems to identify potential losses and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective actions), and project support and approval (support initial drafting of Board Resolutions and support Capital Project Accounting resolving issues, including ensuring compliance with IRS and grant requirements).
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Contract Management, Supply Chain Management or closely related discipline + 3 years of experience to include supply chain management, data analysis, numerical optimization, systems engineering, contract negotiation and administration, and procurement.
