The ideal candidate will be a SharePoint subject matter expert on all aspects of SharePoint design, development, workflow, forms, APIs, testing, configuration, implementation, and support while having a very strong foundational modern development background. The developer will work on SharePoint site development and support conversion of paper forms to electronic forms, maintaining and generating new automated workflows utilizing Nintex.
The candidate must be well suited to work in a fast paced, collaborative, and respectful agile team environment that is constantly evolving.
The developer must have an accelerated progress mindset. They will be an advocate for challenging constraints and advancing Cloud initiatives that may include SharePoint alternatives to serve the University stakeholder/partner community and champion form and workflow advancement for the overall organization.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience in building SharePoint sites and workflows using out-of-the-box components. Experience should include SharePoint 2013 or 2016, as well as, SharePoint 2019 or Sharepoint Online, Sharepoint 2013 or Nintex Workflows, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath 2013+, and SharePoint REST APIs or SharePoint Search Service.
Demonstrated experience building and editing SP pages, libraries, complex custom lists, column formulas, customized workflows, permissions, and/or solution development in C# server side code (timer jobs, templates, event receivers etc).
Demonstrated general enterprise application development skills: ASP.NET MVC C#.
Experience with responsive user interface design and knowledge of usability best practices.
Experience maintaining site branding and design standards across all pages.
Experience developing web services and other types of integrations, and resolving integration issues involving multiple technologies and business areas. Knowledge of best practices and infrastructure for web services.
Demonstrated effective creative problem solving and flexibility when collaborating with partners, team members, support teams, external vendors, and technical organizations to understand, advocate for, evaluate, and support enhancements, resulting in plans and services that leverage the capabilities of existing technology and meet partner and organizational expectations.
Experience and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative and respectful agile team environment.
Excellent communication skills, specifically listening to customer needs, restating those needs, and documenting your work.
History of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Must be solutions-based and have a history of being proactive.

Experience with Oracle and SQL database development and ability to compose complex queries and stored procedures
Experience developing unit tests using FakeItEasy and MSTest.
Experience with LINQ, StructureMap, Entity Framework, LESS, and Typescript.
Experience writing cross platform mobile development with Xamarin and mobile applications.
Experience in lean methodology.
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
This position will be filled at the Senior salary range of $79,184 - $95,213 as the primary goal. The requirements listed below reflect the Senior level expectations. Applicants with lesser experience are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the primary goal is not met. Lesser-experienced candidates will be reviewed at an Intermediate level salary range of $64,654 - $72,003.
This position requires a normal amount of sitting; average mobility to move around an office environment; ability to conduct normal amount of work at a computer; travel to various locations on and off campus. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required. May require on-call availability and may require working during non-business hours and on weekends.
