Saint Michael's College is seeking an experienced professional to assume responsibility for the College portal, other web related projects, and integrations. This position will report to the Associate Director for Enterprise Applications.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, staff, IT Assistant Directors, the CIO, GMHEC staff and various vendors and developers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this position include responding to phone calls and emails from campus constituents using the administrative applications and services; maintaining integrations between campus systems and GMHEC systems; running all software updates; performing problem determination in a multiple server distribution of network applications; guiding users in formulating requirements, performing the analysis, design, programming, implementation, and testing of applications projects; and providing on-call support for critical computer applications problems and issues.
