The Outpatient Imaging Supervisor is accountable for performing quality diagnostic imaging studies through the application of advanced technical knowledge, while maintaining strict attention to safety and patient care. This position provides oversight for the Outpatient Imaging Center. The position facilitates "Our Promise" by ensuring environment of safety, integrity, caring and innovation focused on improving the health of those needing special imaging services. This position represents the organization and department in giving to the communities we serve providing servant leadership.
Education & Experience
Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
At least five years clinical experience in Imaging.
Pediatric setting preferred
One year of leadership experience with progressive responsibilities are required
One year of experience dealing with scheduling, budget, quality and other customer relations
Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Customer Service and recovery skills
Working knowledge of the following as they pertain to an imaging function:
TDH, TJC, and other regulatory requirements
Billing as it relates to imaging
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
ARRT certification is required
Certification with the Texas Medical Board
Current BLS certification
