Department Overview CTO team consists Engineering, DevOps & Cloud services and is part of the Enterprise Information Technology business. This team interacts closely with multiples business partners including Wholesale Banking, Consumer Banking, Wealth & Investment Management and Consumer Lending Teams.
About the Role This position is with Cloud Operations and Engineering team and will be responsible for design, build and 24/7 production support of Windows Azure Pack. Rotating support coverage Sun - Sat 6:00AM PT - 6:00PM PT.
Provides technical systems support within a technology organization. Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following: provides support for complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services; uses diagnostic and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems; evaluates service level agreement criteria and identifies gaps in current technology process; participates in migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations; may write queries to extract data and validates data loads; completes project sizing; updates/writes documentation and procedures and assists with related training; troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues using general guidelines, templates or direction from others; participates in writing test scripts; maintains change or issue logs; analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements; understands quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas and reviews changes for risk to production systems; participates in testing and updating the business continuation plan.
Troubleshooting web/client/server applications on cloud platform (WAP, AWS).
Basic SSL certificate management and troubleshooting
Tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a web based server environment including Application Performance Monitoring.
Knowledge of web protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, and SSL) as well as troubleshooting connectivity of these protocols.

Essential Qualifications At least 4 years of experience on the following : - Working experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) - Working experience with PAAS, SAAS - Working experience with Multi-tenanted architecture, MicroServices, Container, Virtualization - Experience with Cloud Migrations, 12 factor - Experience with designing solutions that support horizontal scalability -Experience with distributed processing of large data sets -Experience with service-oriented platform development using .NET, WAP, Azure Stack, AWS, and OpenStack Cloud -Experience with Windows based platforms -Knowledge of the peculiarities of hosting applications within a Cloud environment - Willingness to work with the onsite team on migrations & Cloud initiatives - Experience with Safe Framework and agile methodologies -Possession of excellent technical writing skills, communication and verbal
Able to conduct performance tuning, review log files, and troubleshoot web application issues
