Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation (RIPCPC) offers a unique ambulatory pharmacy residency experience embedded within the Integra accountable care organization (ACO). The resident will work directly with patients in primary care physician offices or clinics. Diverse learning experiences will prepare the resident for a pharmacy career in ambulatory care and the resident will be exposed to an innovative healthcare and ambulatory care model. These learning experiences will include family/internal medicine, metabolic/diabetes clinic, chronic kidney disease, transitions of care, practice management, and academia in collaboration with the University of Rhode Island. As part of an organization of over 150 primary care providers and specialists and serving more than 150,000 patients across the state of Rhode Island, the resident will have countless opportunities and the residency will be shaped based on resident interests and anticipated career path.
