Research Computing Technical Facilitator

The Research Computing Technical Facilitator is an integral member of the University of Arkansas Fayetteville central IT Services research computing support team, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to help solve multidimensional information technology problems, improve customer experience, and generate value for our campus stakeholders across a broad base of departments and constituencies. The Facilitator provides direct outreach and support services for research computing-related proposal development and subsequent coordination of technical services support to research faculty, staff, graduate students, and academic programs. The Facilitator advises on a wide range of outreach and support issues including large-scale initiatives, programs, and projects by developing a strong understanding of industry-leading trends and initiatives. The Facilitator provides or coordinates the use of computing services and associated technical support for new and ongoing research projects and academic endeavors.
