Where the Chemistry Happens
We are seeking a professional like you to create cloud-based applications used by our customers to generate revenue for BASF in Southfield, MI or Whitehouse, OH. While other projects may be diverse and forthcoming, the current product is designed to allow body shops, partners, and distributors in dozens of countries and speaking dozens of languages, a system to search for formulas and mix the paint used to paint cars. This involves high-tech IoT devices such as Spectrophotometers, Digitally Connected Scales, and Label Printers. This core solution is a key part of the digital strategy within BASF Automotive Refinish Coatings and will continue to evolve and improve with future advancements. This solution is globally used, and thus, requires a "global mindset and approach" throughout the development process. The expectation is for the role to act as a steward for BASF with a focus on customer centric solutions.
In this role, you will be a Senior Full Stack Developer (Front End Angular 7+ and Backend C#) tasked to develop custom solutions within an existing application framework. You will demonstrate your ability to code, test, document and deploy, while working both independently as well as within a team (with the ability to communicate effectively a must). You can expect a higher work load than a Junior/Senior Developer, while also leading and coaching other developer resources to amplify the team's future production capabilities. Though full stack, this role requires a reasonable amount of Angular 7+ Development (NOT ANGULAR JS).

Formula for Success
In this role, you will be a Senior Full Stack Developer (Front End Angular 7+ and Backend C#) tasked to:
Develop custom solutions within an existing application framework.
Demonstrate your ability to code, test, document and deploy,
Work independently as well as within a team
Communicating effectively is a must
Leveraging your Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Software Engineering create best in class technology applications*
Utilizing your 3+ years development expertise, with at least 1 year of Angular 2+ and C#, write quality code.
Train, coach, and enhance the skills of New College hires, Junior Developers and those with less demonstrated skill than your own
Operate in a strict Agile Scrum environment (not Waterfall with Sprints)
Complete the workload of a Full-Stack Senior Developer.
Requires a reasonable amount of Angular 7+ Development (NOT ANGULAR JS).
Architect Cloud Based Solutions for Developers to create, develop, and improve business critical solutions in Microsoft Azure.
Debug, test and correct code issues.
Create robust applications and services that improve business processes.
Migrate code between environments
Ensure up-time, security and functionality and as you design and evaluate best practices & coding standards
Complete other tasks and duties as assigned
Lead and develop skills in technology, data architecture, and management
