Where the Chemistry Happens
Performance Materials (PM) North America is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional like you to join our Business Intelligence Team in Wyandotte, Michigan. As a Business Analyst/Pricing Administrator you will collaborate with and support members of the commercial teams to provide ongoing price-related maintenance in SAP (price discrepancies, price maintenance, hierarchy maintenance, etc.). Additionally, you will manage the database for commercial and other contracts for PM North America. You will also provide analytical support for pricing and other business intelligence activities and be very interactive with other functions within PM.

Formula for Success
Leveraging your education in a business, accounting, financial, technical, or supply chain discipline, you will be a member of the Business Intelligence Team for PM North America.
Demonstrating your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, you will be the pricing administrator for PM in North America. You will partner with Customer Care, Commercial Management and the Sales team to ensure correct pricing is in place for our customers. You will be a focal point for resolving pricing questions.
Utilizing your solid understanding and hands-on experience with IT concepts and processes, you will gain experience using PMM (Price Margin Management, BASF's price management tool). You will work with Product Management, Commercial Management, Supply Chain and others to maintain and update the data in PMM.
Your proficiency with SAP, especially with the sales, distribution and pricing modules will be essential in performing the above functions.
Your ability to interact at various levels within the organization (up to executive level) will serve you well as you administer the system for routing, approving and storing PM's commercial and other contracts.
Using your technical skills and proficiency with the analysis of large datasets, you will perform research, data analysis, draw conclusions and make recommendations for various business intelligence projects.
Using your affinity with information technology and your digital mindset, you will support functions within the business (pricing strategy, commercial management, product management, sales, marketing, and others) on the use of various tools and systems.
Demonstrating your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will routinely collaborate with other members of the Performance Materials regional and global communities.
