We also work with employers to customize the processes and convenient and efficient as possible. We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to work at our Corporate office in San Antonio, Texas! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading. It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the Data Entry Coordinator, you will be responsible for tallying information and inputting that information into an Excel spreadsheet, Power Point, and our internal database system. This position requires an extreme attention to detail, being very accurate, and able to keep up with the fast-paced work each day. What You’ll Do for Us: Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities. Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. Entering customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format. Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Verifying entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data. Testing customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output. Securing information by completing data base backups. Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Maintaining customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. May require other duties as assigned. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior data entry experience preferred Knowledge and Skills: Excellent attention to detail Extremely organized Able to work in a very fast paced environment Strong data entry skills; able to type a minimum of 6000ksph with 100% accuracy (a data entry assessment will be administered) Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills; Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting.
