This senior financial analyst position will be a direct report to the North America Customer Support & Maintenance (CSM) FP&A Manager. The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with the NA CSM finance team and cost center/functional leaders within the business unit. The qualified candidate will split their time between FP&A responsibilities, business partnering, and ensuring our financial controls are in place and operating effectively. The analyst will be responsible for preparing and analyzing key financial reports; forecasting, reporting, and causaling CSM HQ spend; preparing all financial reporting associated with the Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM); and performing internal control activities. The candidate will have the opportunity to independently perform in-depth financial analysis, provide insights to management, as well as improve processes and standardize reporting.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Prepares monthly cost center reporting and variance analysis for assigned functions; assists in the identification of financial risks and opportunities and the development of cost center forecasts
Responsible for the accuracy of financial reports, including preparation of monthly journal entries as required Summarize and communicate meaningful financial information to management
Assist in the coordination of FP&A activities for the business unit including monthly orders and revenue reporting, monthly business review presentation, embedded products reporting, Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM) reporting, and various quarterly forecasting processes
Analyze and report utilization of billable resources
Track and analyze key financial metrics associated with contracts (profitability, new vs. renewal)
Perform key internal control activities, including balance sheet and PARB compliance reviews; assist in related reporting and issue resolution
Assist with internal and external audit requests
Desire and ability to take on new responsibilities; requires strong self-initiative to continually expand knowledge, improve processes, and streamline activities of the business unit's finance function
Learn and adapt to changing processes, financial systems, and internal customer needs
