JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to manage and coordinate the fleet management program which consists of acquisition, fit out, delivery, maintenance and replacement, branding, insurance and vendor management of vehicles across the account.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leads low to medium cross-business line fleet programs end-to-end by facilitating the development and improvement of charter and integrated timeline.
Ensures all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated. Responsible for program is competition.
Forecasts and plans for new and replacement vehicle needs across the fleet. Works closely with sales, transitions and account representatives to determine over the next two-year period on a month to month rolling basis.
Responsible for reporting status of individual and groups of projects and programs. Provides appropriate levels of detail, and summarizes complex issues succinctly.
Analyzes and make recommendations on the most effective vehicle solutions through continuous evaluation and optimization of vehicles, packing, vehicle vendors and operating costs.
Manages internal and external relationships in support of vehicle program. May contract and manage vendors. May provide consultation on complex low to medium scale projects that integrate into an organized program.
Manages, based on input for account representatives, individual vehicle replacements schedules based on condition and cost of existing fleet.
Evaluates maintenance service plans and makes recommendations based on coordination with operation leaders.
Reviews and coordinates with sourcing representatives to acquire new/replacement vehicles, fit outs and maintenance packages on a continuous basis to meet demand.
Coordinates closely with HSE to ensure alignment between vehicles, drivers, training, insurance and policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred and/or a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Possess and maintain a valid state DL (Driver's License) if/when travel is required.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques. Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Dynamic 365.
