The Department of Marketing, Information Systems and Decision Sciences in the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey is accepting applications for two tenure-track positions in Supply Chain Management at Assistant Professor rank with Fall 2020 start date with one position in Teaneck campus and one position in Florham campus. Silberman College of Business offers undergraduate and graduate programs that have earned AACSB accreditation and the College has been consistently included by the Princeton Review in its listing of Best Business Schools in the country. The department offers a MS in Supply Chain Management program (https://view2.fdu.edu/academics/silberman-college/graduate/master-of-science-programs/ms-supply-chain-management/) as well as many other undergraduate, MBA and EMBA courses such as Business Statistics/Analytics, Data Science/Decision Analysis, Supply Chain/Operations Management. Courses may be offered in-person, hybrid, or online format. Fairleigh Dickinson founded in 1942, is a private, coeducational university with an enrollment of more than 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students from throughout the United States and the world. The Metropolitan (Teaneck) Campus is located 10 miles from the heart of New York City, and the College of Florham Campus is located 35 miles from New York City, near historic Morristown, New Jersey. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or other closely related fields from an AACSB accredited institution with evidence of or potential for high quality teaching and scholarship. In addition, teaching interest in business analytics/data science is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The normal teaching load is 9 credit hours per semester, assuming the faculty has qualified release time for research. Summer research support opportunities are available. Salary and benefits are competitive with AACSB accredited institutions.
