The Executive Director, Materials Management Services will plan, lead and direct strategic and operational aspects of the department within Supply Chain Services Division. This includes supply and inventory management, inbound logistics, records and asset management, linen and patient durable medical equipment management and customer service.
The Executive Director and team will collaborate with other supply chain operational areas to design and implement solutions to supply chain logistics issues and systems. This position will serve as an advisor to the Supply Chain Services Leader and the broad customer base of MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Ten years of managerial experience in materials management.
Extensive knowledge and experience in receiving and distribution, inventory control, documents and records retention, property management operations and JCAHO and CMS regulatory compliance as it relates to materials management.
Prefer experience in a large healthcare organization or related organization.
Bachelor's degree; APICS certification
