Essential Job Duties:
The primary focus of the Associate Director of Marketing, Jenkins Graduate Management Programs will be to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy to drive the growth of the NC State Poole College of Management's portfolio of Jenkins Graduate Management degree and certificate programs, to include:
MBA (Full-time, Evening, Online): High level strategic strategy and direction (execution of tactics will be given to the AD of Marketing for MBA); include management of all digital campaigns; Collaboration of annual budget for MBA marketing; Content development for website and social platforms; Recruitment strategy collaboration and execution for the MBA admissions team
Master of Accounting (MAC): Strategic strategy and execution for MAC marketing initiatives; duties include: Management of paid digital campaigns; provide creative direction; Content development and consultation for recruitment pipeline initiatives
Master of Management (Global Luxury and Management focus): Strategic strategy and execution for GLAM marketing initiatives; duties include creative direction; content development and consultation for recruitment pipeline initiatives'; organic social media strategy and execution direction.
Graduate Economics Programs: Will work in collaboration with Department Chair to assist with rankings submissions and any creative strategies for website and print collateral.
Graduate Certificates: Tax Analytics and Technology (TATC), TEC, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance: Provide creative direction when needed; execution of website and print collateral creative needs; communication and marketing launch plans when needed.
Essential duties of the Associate Director of Marketing will include, but are not limited to:
Develop integrated marketing and communications strategies and associated plans, in collaboration with Poole College of Management brand strategy, to strengthen the reputation of the Jenkins Graduate Management Programs and drive admissions growth.
Collaborate with program and admissions and recruiting leads, college leadership and vendors to determine the optimal marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and delight applicants and students.
Oversee creative process and production of print collateral.
Manage development and execution of internal communications needs for graduate students, alumni, faculty, staff (including career management staff), including student and alumni surveys.
Supervise content creation and optimization of owned media, including social media and web properties.
Manage relationships with digital media vendor(s) to translate media strategy into efficient plan.
Provide reporting/analytics/recommendations for optimization on marketing and media initiatives.
Manage the programs' lead flow and prospect communications.
In conjunction with NC State University Communications and Poole College Marketing & Communications, bring activities to the attention of the public.
Coordinate data for the completion of surveys for graduate management programs rankings, including Bloomberg BusinessWeek and US News.
The Associate Director of Marketing will report to the Poole College of Management Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and will supervise the Assistant Director, Jenkins MBA Programs, as well as part-time and temporary employees supporting the various marketing and communications needs.
The Associate Director of Marketing will also develop plans to launch new programs identified by the college; work directly with any new program launch to develop marketing and communications strategy and execution.
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Ability to contribute in a team environment
Experience managing marketing campaigns and analyzing data to make future recommendations.
A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five years of professional post-baccalaureate experience in marketing, admissions, communications, or a related field is preferred.
A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience in higher education admissions, marketing or communications at another university is strongly preferred.
