Wytheville Community College located at the crossroads of I-77/81 in the beautiful mountains of southwest Virginia with many recreational opportunities and within a less than a two-hour drive to Roanoke, Bristol, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Charlotte is recruiting for a Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services. This position will report directly to the President of the college. Duties and Responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following: Responsible for planning and managing finance, facilities, technology, safety, and emergency management functions of the college; Serves as a member of the President's Cabinet and participates in college-wide planning; Directs the business office, facility planning and maintenance area, warehousing functions, police department, emergency management functions, administrative technology department, fleet management, fixed assets, surplus property and risk management. Prepares Certificates of Insurance and loss claims. Directs janitorial service and contracted bookstore operations.
