This pharmacy manager position will oversee the 24/7 operations of the central pharmacy and controlled substance areas including personnel, patient care, and automation. This position will oversee approximately 41 full-time equivalents (FTEs) including 31 indirect and 10 direct reports. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, performance management of direct and indirect reports, education of students and residents, daily management of the central pharmacy and controlled substances areas, meeting organization, leading innovative quality projects and initiatives, and collaboration with other health-care practitioners.
Completion of a PGY-2 in pharmacy administration or equivalent health-system pharmacy experience including a Master of Business Administration, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration, or Master in Public Health is preferred.
