In this role, you will cultivate and manage strategic alliances between key suppliers, Vizient businesses and Vizient members to enhance member value through custom strategies. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team supporting Vizient’s broader supplier strategy to drive revenue across major business segments.
Lead corporate strategic planning and execution to grow transaction and admin fee revenue with clinical commodity and medical surgical products through the addition of new companies/new products and increased utilization on aptitude and national contracts that will be realized through gross admin fee (GAF) and net admin fee (NAF).
Align Vizient’s assets (data, resources, member networks, etc.) to drive meaningful partnerships with supplier community.
Lead regular business reviews with aptitude and Vizient contracted vendors to ensure the delivery of optimal value to members and vendors while maximizing revenue and profitability.
Manage pipeline and revenue targets associated with administrative and transaction fees within the clinical commodity and medical surgical space.
Present on-site value proposition for launch meetings and various milestone events while promoting and implementing strategic programs aligned with sourcing, member engagement, and consulting.
Work with service line consultants to identify specific supplier opportunities/market messages.
10 or more years’ experience involving administrative, clinical practice, & supply chain
in the clinical commodity and medical surgical space.
Strategic planning experience required.
Experience launching new clinical programs preferred.
Experience with quality, outcomes, and best practice models of care preferred.
Ability to translate business needs into innovative, actionable plans and new service offerings that advance the business forward preferred.
Experience interpreting data, synthesizing knowledge of business trends and insights from data analysis preferred.
Willingness to travel.
