The Role Responsibilities
The Liquidity Technology Team requires a Product Owner - person who will actively help to deliver key business and technology initiatives from SCB project portfolio. Person hired for the role will be responsible for tasks prioritisation, defining and designing requirements for Technology Team, direct communication with the stakeholders, proposing solutions which will help SCB Business Departments to cover their needs.
Product Owner role will have significant impact on final shape of our business. Solutions delivered by our Technology Team are critical for smooth execution of the Bank daily operations and keeping operational risk on acceptable level. This role will sit within the Liquidity Technology department located in Standard Chartered GBS Warsaw and you will work closely with the business stakeholders, internal technology design forums, systems analysts, business change and development teams - be prepared for multicultural environment and initiatives delivered in team divided between many international localisations.
Daily cooperation with Liquidity Technology Team to deliver business and technology initiatives portfolio;
Design, plan and prioritise technology tasks delivered by Dev Team;
Provide proposals of solutions that help SCB Business Units to achieve their goals;
Collect requirements from the Business Departments and convert them to tickets;
Being caretaker on Technology Backlog - grooming, refining, keeping well ordered;
Communicate with business and technology stakeholders from each organisational level of the Bank;
Perform impact analysis and provide high level development estimates for delivery of technology tasks;

Our Ideal Candidate
6+ years of experience with software development projects delivered for finance sector companies;
Experience with various techniques for managing product, work prioritisation, roadmap planning, requirements gathering;
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills across various levels in an organisation;
Preferably Bachelor's degree or equivalent education;
Well understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology;
Knowledge of Liquidity Risk and Balance Sheet Management would be a definite advantage;
Knowledge of financial products, specifically calculation of valuations or risk would be an advantage;
Attention to detail and being able to work within tight timeframes and manage multiple tasks;
