We are seeking the expertise of a Senior Manager, Compliance Frameworks to join our Group Compliance, Compliance Framework team.
Your broader team, the Group Compliance team is responsible for lobbying, implementing and monitoring regulatory change with relevance to the CBA Group. It is also responsible for building frameworks and methodologies to enable consistency across the Group and to provide an operating environment to work within and meet our regulatory mandates
Your team, the Compliance Framework team is responsible for:
Management and oversight of implementation of the Group's Compliance Management Framework (CMF);
Development and oversight of the Group's Operational and Compliance Risk tool (RiskInSite), including the governing principles that all business units would operate within;
Managing CBA licences and subscriptions to various bodies;
Annual/Quarterly submissions and attestations to regulatory bodies;
Providing compliance support to stakeholders; and
Supporting relevant risk management initiatives
Reporting to the Head of Compliance Framework , t he purpose of the role is to support the Compliance Framework Team through:
Driving consistent and sustainable implementation of the Compliance Management Framework (CMF) across the Group;
Oversight and challenge of Business Unit implementation of the CMF, including Issue Management, Incident Management, Risk and Controls, Obligations Management and Compliance Reporting;
Providing guidance and advice to BU compliance teams on Compliance Management best practise;
Offering insights into current state versus best practice in peer organisations and advising the business and supporting teams of the requirements of the current expectations;
Implementing and embedding framework changes across the Group by gaining appropriate buy-in and sign-off and building excellent stakeholder relationships along the way; and
Undertaking analysis on the CMF and developing insights to support the Reporting process.
If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:
Extensive compliance knowledge and experience, preferably in the banking and finance sector.
Experience in compliance roles, including role(s) with a focus on developing compliance frameworks.
Strong understanding of different regulatory environments including APRA prudential requirements, ASIC requirements and requirements from other key domestic or international regulators.
Strong understanding of compliance and compliance management principles, frameworks and generally accepted industry practices
Substantial knowledge of compliance, and compliance frameworks.
Experience delivering, implementing and embedding compliance or regulatory change
Experience in presenting complex information in a simple/visual manner.
Strong knowledge of compliance, and compliance frameworks.
Experience delivering, implementing and embedding compliance changes
Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
