BASF is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Associate with demonstrated organizational and planning skills to support the Supply Chain Director and the Technology Director and their corresponsive organizations of the Dispersions and Resins Unit of North America. This person will support the teams that are located in Charlotte, North Carolina on different aspects.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling appointments maintaining calendars; scheduling, coordinating and facilitating meetings, web conferences, events and travel arrangements (both domestic and international) as required.
Expense reporting and review of statements for accuracy.
Preparation of presentations and spreadsheets.
Maintains administrative processes for filing, mail, and other materials.
Management of general correspondence.
Order and tracking of office supplies.
Coordination of travel arrangements for visitors.
Ensure distribution of communications from the directors
Is responsible for office supply budget and administration.
Organize innovation events and know how sharing activities across NA
Support the onboarding of new employees
Support safety initiatives within the team and act as the main communication contact
Main contact for maintenance requests, purchase orders and similar
Associates Degree with 7 years' experience in general office and administrative experience, or the equivalent in education and experience is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an international environment with flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment regarding company matters including identifying, maintaining, and managing confidential issues appropriately.
Highly Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience using Lotus Notes
Prior work experience at an international corporation
Experience with SAP
