Who we are looking for The role of the Portfolio Management Office Lead, Corporate Systems is to provide leadership for developing and implementing the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) model for State Street Corporate Systems. The PMO Lead reports to the Corporate Systems Strategy & Operations Managing Director and may have Vice President / Assistant Vice President level regional leads based in Boston, India, China and other global locations.
What you will be responsible for As Corporate Systems PMO Lead, you will
Oversee the portfolio, including governance processes, intake processes, prioritization, roadmap planning and execution
Develop metrics that measures the portfolio performance through quantitative and qualitative measures
Ensure that the portfolio of roadmaps and project plans are current, integrated and aligned to the strategic goals of the department
Define and ensure appropriate resource allocation and project prioritization processes
Partner closely with Corporate CIO and COO to develop, communicate, and reinforce a clear criteria for prioritization and project justification
Provide business consulting to ensure that strategies are aligned to technical strategies and delivered upon consistently for value; be able to analyze, understand and communicate the tradeoffs involved with generation and prioritization decisions
Create expert-level presentations to communicate with executive and senior leaders across the organization
Define & champion policies, guidelines and best practices for change management and business readiness
Develop an approach for ongoing communication and highlighting of PMO success stories

Individual has 10+ years of related experience in portfolio management, IT strategy consulting and/or operations leadership
Able to expertly drive the highest level phases of the portfolio management, while considering the business implications to the current and future business environment
Seasoned or highly motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proven track record of working through ambiguity and demonstrating influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to expertly communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong presentation skills
Strong thought leader, strategic thinker and problem solver
