The Organizations & Entrepreneurship Area at the Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration invites applications from interested professionals in Western PA for a part-time faculty position to teach the three-credit undergraduate senior capstone seminar in the Certificate Program in Leadership and Ethics (CPLE) Program in Pitt Business. The CPLE is a 16-credit certificate for students of all majors in Pitt Business. Each year, 25-30 Pitt Business students pursue the CPLE, which has a heavy focus on experience-based learning projects on matters pertaining to leadership and ethics for organizations in the region. The CPLE seniors take a capstone seminar in the Fall which is meant to be the culmination of their work in the CPLE with a focus on how their personal and professional development over the past four years will shape their leadership approach.
We are seeking an individual who is a content expert in a topic area pertaining to organizational ethics or corporate social responsibility. For illustrative purposes, the CPLE program has had projects and internships in content areas such as food security in local food systems, financial literacy, data privacy, and sustainability in supply chain management. The individual should have a relevant graduate degree from an accredited institution, substantial work experience at the managerial level, and a track record of teaching undergraduates, preferably undergraduate business students. A strong record of developing experience-based learning projects is an important asset for this position. Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis.
