The CRM Administrative Developer is an accomplished Salesforce developer and analyst. Working independently and as part of a team, they will work extensively with members of business offices to define the business requirements for technology solutions.Â Â The incumbent will be a member of project teams for implementation of commercial, open source, and cloud-based applications, both within Salesforce and third-party solutions. They will act as liaison between business owners and internal and external technology solution providers as well as for building, enhancing, and maintaining custom-built applications within Salesforce.Â Â The individual will also be called upon to work as a member in a project, collaborate with teams from different business units around the university and with other CIS teams. Provides high level technical and analytical support for all phases of the University application software life cycle. Works with custom-built applications, purchased packages, and other automation technology in support of administrative customers.
â—Â Â Bachelorâ™s degree preferred.
â—Â 3-5 yearsâ™ experience working with large scale ERP systems and CRM applications, with direct experience using Salesforce.
â—Experience supporting recruitment, admissions, and enrollment areas in a higher education institution preferred.
â—Ability to understand large scale systems within the landscape and/or constraints of a multi-constituent environment and appreciate that such complexities may require alternative approaches to system implementations.
â—Experience with relational database management systems required along with strong SQL programming skills preferred.
â—Salesforce-related APEX coding, or Java equivalent required.
â—Platform Developer I Salesforce Certification preferred.
â—Knowledge and work experience with application integrations.
â—Experience working with advanced triggers with multiple functions, front end development, building beyond the standard Salesforce UI.
â—Experience working with large data sets and complex security requirements.
â—Strong analysis skills required.
â—Ability to work effectively with people with differing levels of technical knowledge.
â—Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written).
â—Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
â—Work experience in an academic environment preferable.
â—Â A working knowledge of mainstream desktop software.
â—Familiarity with the full software development life cycle.
â—Ability and desire for independent learning.
â—Demonstrates a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
