The Department of Radiology at the University of Washington is seeking applications for two full-time faculty members at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor-Salaried to join the Emergency and Trauma Radiology section at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, WA with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2020. School of Medicine faculty members have an annual service period of 12 months (July 1-June 30).
Harborview Medical Center is one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers and the only Level 1 trauma center in the state of Washington. In addition to caring for state-wide trauma and non-traumatic emergencies, Harborview receives and cares for large numbers of major trauma patients from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Wyoming.
We staff a busy emergency radiology practice embedded centrally within the emergency and trauma center. We train medical students and radiology residents from the University of Washington, as well as two Emergency Radiology fellows per year. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

Candidates for this position must hold an M.D. or foreign equivalent, be board certified or eligible in radiology, possess or be eligible for a full medical license in Washington State.
The ideal candidate will have completed fellowship training in Emergency Radiology or other subspecialty (neuroradiology, MSK, chest) with extensive experience in relevant areas (such as MSK imaging, spine imaging, brain imaging, chest imaging), or will have experience as an attending emergency radiologist at a busy academic Level I Trauma Center.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B Visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
