CBRE shall be providing its client with large power / electrical Infrastructure equipment purchasing, procurement and supply chain management support. The primary categories electrical equipment included are transformers, switchgear, bus duct, diesel power generators and all data center related infrastructure. Candidates with prior electrical engineering background are preferred, but also candidates with prior knowledge of this type of equipment would be helpful to support day-to-day operations, large and complex project deployments, and will work across numerous customer teams. The "Power/Electrical Infrastructure Purchasing & Procurement Analyst " will also provide the following Services:
Manage legacy product iterations and releases for data center equipment through the client's New Product Introduction ("NPI") process;
Coordinating details, such as lead times, delivery schedules, quantities and types of equipment between suppliers and contractors for Owner Negotiated - Contractor Procured ("ONCP") and Owner Furnished Equipment ("OFE") programs;
Add vendors and new bank account information to the procurement system for payment processing;
Address and resolve supplier invoicing issues between Accounts Receivable and/or Project Management teams;
Draft Purchase Order ("PO") details and track POs within client's internal Project Information & Metric Management System (PIMMS); and
Support on Compliance, Deviations & Exceptions ("CDE") reviews regarding tracking and closure on specifications and Services between suppliers, engineering and internal project management teams; and Procurement and supply chain support on spares requests from internal Data Center
Establish and maintain strong and positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing, supplier contracts and service level agreements with manufacturers, vendors, suppliers and agents to ensure the highest quality products for lowest possible cost or best competitive price.
Receive and evaluate quotations, interview vendors and select/recommend suppliers while considering price, delivery requirements, and past performance of vendor/supplier.
Process purchase orders, requisitions, and other purchasing documents for the purchase of materials, tools, and equipment.
Schedule and coordinates delivery of materials and equipment.
Review Bill of Material with Management to determine major buy-outs and subcontracts versus field order/release items.
Develop Project Procurement Plan in conjunction with Management.
Lead implementation of supplier optimization and supplier risk management initiatives, along with Continuous Improvement and Lean Activities by conducting supplier and subcontractor analysis, evaluate potential new suppliers and manage the overall supplier qualification process, as required.
Review and approve invoices. Coordinate and resolve invoice problems with vendor and A/P.
Coordinate and administer material returns, credits and refusals process while ensuring cost efficient handling.
Coordinates and administers special procurement projects, as required.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Minimal travel; less than 15%, but may be required periodically.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from four-year College and/or University. Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
At minimum, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree in any of the following: Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or some related technical field, or have 5 year of commercial large power equipment purchasing experience. (Desired)
Must have prior work experience with purchasing, sourcing, or purchasing of commercial electrical equipment used in large construction projects.(Desired)
Working Knowledge of Purchasing statistics: Work Load in/out, Individual Buyer Stat, PPV, and MRP Stats, and Contract Log.(Desired)
Supply Management Certifications are preferred, but not required.(Desired)
Accomplishments in handling diverse and complex sourcing transactions, negotiations, and contractual responsibility.(Desired)
Must have strong technical skills and comfort using the following: Power user of Google Applications; including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, GMail, and Hangouts (Google video conferencing)(Desired)
