The Perioperative Informatics RN Coordinator is a registered nurse with recognized leadership abilities and sound clinical skills who will actively assist Perioperative RN Informatics Assistant Manager with day to day support. Acts as representative of Perioperative Services including but not limited to supply chain projects, IT optimization and preference card management.
The role of this position assist in developing educational materials; provides training and education on new and established IT and supply chain related processes. Â Efforts will focus on support and direct involvement with end users and optimizing professional and clinical workflows.
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelorâs Degree in Nursing (BSN) required upon hire.â¢Preferred: Masterâs Degree in Nursing or related field, or in progressâ¢ * Masterâs Degree in Nursing may be in lieu-of Bachelorâs Degree in NursingMinimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Minimum 3 yearsâ experience in Operating Room as an RN.â¢Computer experience required.â¢Clinical IT experience required.Required License/Certification:â¢RN - Valid California Registered Nursing (RN) license.â¢BLS â Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.â¢LA City Fire and Safety Certification.
