We have anexciting Business Analyst opportunity within the Division of Health Informatics (DHI) at MSK. This new role will focus on leading projects for the Consumer Health Informatics teamas we helpdevelop and improve the way we use patient-facing technology in clinical care.
The Division of Health Informatics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center manages clinician and patient-facing health information technology, including the institutional electronic health record, ancillary clinical systems, and tools that enable decision support, health information exchange, knowledge management, and patient engagement. Beyond working with the technology itself, we aim to understand the people who use it and the processes affected by its implementation. We empower our clinicians and patients with tools that support the best outcomes, and we support our researchers in their efforts to forge new territory in precision oncology. We evaluate our interventions to prove that the work we are doing is impactful, and we weigh costs and benefits to measure value and prioritize future initiatives.
MSK has developed and implemented numerous patient-facing Informatics solutions. Significant growth in these areas is anticipated in the coming years including expansions of existing systems, as well as deployments of new solutions.
In this role, you willsupport theproduct managementof clinical systems used by the department of Health Informatics, primarily focusing, but not limited to, the domains ofpatientengagement, consumer health&Patient Generated Health Data(PGHD). This presently includes product management related toourpatient-reported outcomes tool(MSK Engage),patient portal application(MyMSK),andwork with consumerdevices and wearables.
Support theproduct managementof a suite of patient-facing digital products, includinggatheringand prioritizingproduct requirements, definingproduct roadmaps and vision, andleadingefforts toidentify user needs anddrive improvements to userexperience;
Work closely with engineering, designers and other institutional stakeholders to execute development and builds against the productroadmaps;
Consultand liaisewiththeclinical,informatics, IT, strategy and operations leadership on issues related to the assigned product portfolio, including supporting the implementation of research, pilots and deployments of products in the teamportfolio;
Supportongoing maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, interfaces and integration with existing and new systems, includingsupportinggo-live activities in clinicalsettings;
Work directly withclinical/business users oftheproducts in the team portfolio,conducting field observations and informational sessions to educate around these systems capabilities and understand needs while being able to provide workflow recommendations and bestpractices;
Create and maintain documentation for workflow, operating procedures, quality control and systemadministration;
Monitor all activities associated with the daily operation and data reporting of all systems withinthe team portfolioto ensure data integrity, consistency andaccuracy;
Support on-site SEO initiatives via content updates
Support aspects of data flows to ensure an optimal customer experience
Develop best practices and approaches to answer ad hoc questions on online user behavior, customer journeys, engagement, conversion data and multi-channel attribution
Assist various testing and optimization efforts and special initiatives by performing in-depth and ad-hoc analysis of information from multiple data sources (web analytics data, marketing data, newsletter data, subscription data, alternate platforms as well as external data) to assist data informed decision making at all levels

Bachelors Degreerequired,Masters preferred
4-7years operations, patient/provider user experience, any telemedicine or data exposure a plus
quick learner, able to comfortably engage with key stakeholders, patients, etc. for user feedback and navigate your way through independently.
Experience with Healthcare Systems highly desired
Knowledge of patient-facing technology and consumer health products wouldbe a huge bonus
