The Lead Manager role is a highly visible, integral part of the IDT (Information & Digital Technology) team with tremendous career growth opportunities. This position provides technology leadership in the organization by identifying, deploying, maintaining, and projects managing IT services that contribute to RAI’s success.
Practical Duties & Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture – Leverage the power of cloud resources to solve business problems. Define and design integrated cloud computing architecture for a multi-cloud environment. Assist in developing integrated plans for front-end platforms, cloud-based delivery, network and back-end platforms.
Solution Design – Define requirements and key success criteria to design an end-state integrated technology and business process solution to deliver business value. Manage an integrated approach to enable technology transformation and solve complex business challenges.
Service Delivery – Partner with third parties, internal clients, and finance experts to forecast and create capacity plans to help influence priorities, roadmaps and communicate expectations of various initiatives and future investments. Responsible for delivering cloud initiatives resulting in improved customer experience and cost optimization.
Operational Excellence – Influence cloud operational excellence across the US and globe. Elevate the organization's corporate profile around the IDT strategy, service delivery metrics and value delivered to the company. Identify and own local and global initiatives continuing to optimize our highly customer focused operational teams.
US IDT Directors / Project Managers - understand and communicate strategic / operational / project priorities, lead the development of IDT architectures and support models
Global IDT Services – As a major component of a large global company, interaction with international team delivering global services is a major part of the path to successful delivery
Local and global vendors – Leveraged for day-to-day operational / project activities. RAI’s success depends on the success of its partners to deliver
4-year degree with a focus in computer science, information technology, business administration or related field strongly preferred. MBA/Master's degree in related field a plus
Minimum of two (2) years of architecting AWS SysOps solutions required
Minimum of four 4 years of IT or related experience with proven project management expertise preferred
AWS SysOps, DevOps, or Solutions Engineer certification
Demonstrated Project Management expertise delivering business benefits on time, within scope and budget
Experience with Azure and on-prem environment management
Experience with PaaS and IaaS cloud services
Experience with Agile project methodology
Strong strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills
Ability to articulate the value of established and emerging technologies
Excellent interpersonal skills working with clients, vendors, and co-workers
Excellent client facing and internal communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to oversee vendor interactions and deal with potential conflicts with a de-escalating style
