The Trade Promotions Manager will primarily support our growing Retail business in the US and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Retail promotions. They will work cross functionally with various departments such as Accounting, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot processes.
Manage trade and promotions process, including analyzing promo effectiveness in coordination with Finance and Retail teams
Define, create and execute on Retail promotions for all IF retailers
Conduct ROI analysis for every retail promotion
Lead monthly and annual promotions planning exercise with the team
Identify bottlenecks in the promo process and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of insights
Be the sales point of contact to manage the Trade Promotions Management (TPM) tool, working closely with Accounting, Finance and IT
Partner with Accounting on trade accrual process
Own retail trade forecasting
Interface with Accounting and Finance on order to cash process
Be comfortable with being hands on in managing data in TPM and running analyses
Support the development of Impossible Foods’ internal sales reporting capabilities for trade management
Embody our Sales Operations team values of inspiring trust, embracing change, and committing to excellence
A Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years of experience working in trade and promotions management, preferably at a large CPG company
Account Management or experience in Finance is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite – Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize various work streams
Strong analytical and statistical skills - with focus on trade analytics, combined with the ability to clearly communicate the main takeaways to stakeholders from a wide range of functions
A continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to eliminate non-value added work
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
