Responsibilities As an experienced analyst in IT Enterprise Applications, this position is responsible for participating in complex business and systems analysis, testing, implementation, and on-going management of key IT initiatives. Initiatives include the assessment and management of projects for the entire Enterprise, this may include both vendor-supported and custom applications. The position may also work on IT projects associated with operational and administrative functions.
Interact with all levels of IT management and staff and will work with a high degree of independence and decision-making. Participates in the business and systems analysis and testing aspects of projects, working with cross functional teams, and Subject Matter Experts throughout the delivery process. This includes all aspects of system implementation from requirements gathering, analysis and design, configuration and testing, through deployment and support. Highly effective analytical and communication skills to diverse audiences is essential.
Systems Analyst with a broad degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas. Problem solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent and / or structure. Leads resolution of moderately complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contributes to new and innovative workflows to improve operational efficiencies. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources. Functions with a moderate degree of autonomy.
Applies advanced business process and analysis concepts, organizational objectives, and industry knowledge to lead projects of moderate scope and complexity. Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of 3-5 years education and hands on work experience.
Experience as business analyst participating in medium to large scale IT projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills applied to documenting complex business processes and system requirements. Ability to convey technical information and instructions to all levels of end users and staff in a clear and concise manner.
Experience with integrated applications.
Demostrated experience with process analysis, systems analysis, process architecture, and various SDLC methodologies and practices.
Knowledge of business operational support including; planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
Strong foundational knowledge of applications and underlying technologies (servers, storage, databases, etc).
Practiced interpersonal communication skills to clearly and effectively train, support, collaborate, clarify technology situations and resolve problems with a diverse group of end users and key stakeholders at all professional and technical levels.
Skills to conduct research, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of diverse information and prepare analysis and reports in logical format with minimal supervision.
Strong skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and other Microsoft Office tools.
Apply problem-solving skills to complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner.
Strong analytical skills and expertise in documentation and reporting, including the ability to apply metrics, plan and implement testing strategies, collect and analyze performance data, and produce substantive reports and analyses for management use.
Experience with ERP Financial/Supply Chain, and other admistrative applications.
Academic institution or large integrated healthcare facility experience.
Relevant business analysis certification.
Ability to work remotely; exhibit the ability to work independently and possess strong communciation skills over multiple platforms.
Experience working with diverse groups, including peers, leaders, and others in a matrixed environment.
Ability to fulfill testing and analyst roles concurrently for medium to large scale enterprise technology projects.
